Dr. Manish Ranjan, IAS, ranked 4th in Civil Services Examination 2002. Recipient of Director’s Gold Medal, he ranked overall 1st in the final examination after probation. He is currently posted as District Magistrate (District Collector) of Hazaribag district in Jharkhand state. He has held the post of District Magistrate (District Collector) for three different districts previously and completed these tenures very successfully.
